Kerrelyn Sparks (Love At Stake Series)
If you are new to the "Love at Stake Series", let me tell you about it. The whole series is just a really great find for me. I am a huge fan of series books but some times when you read them after a while they get repetitious and boring. Not with these books! Every story is different, even though they have the same main characters. The writer is very talented! The first book of the series is "How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire". It is hilarious! Roman (A Vampire) the Main Character has a little "mishap" and needs a dentist and it all just goes from there. I laughed so hard! They are funny and serious...there is drama and always a few sides stories within the story, I liked them so much I am embarrassed to say how many times I read and re-read them. There are 10 books so far in the series. I enjoyed every one of them!!!
I have been a fan of the "Love at Stake Series" since the beginning! Her latest book "Vampire Mine" was released 3/29/11 and doesn't disappoint! It is fantastic! After I read it, I loved it so much I wanted to start over and read it again. You know it is a good book when you are disappointed when it is over only because you didn't want it to end! And of course, I will be waiting for the next book to come out! When it does... I am sure I will write about it too!

I Heart Jeaniene Frost
Jeaniene Frost is a fairly new author, she has one series (Night Huntress Series) and then has started a spin off based of some of the character's in her series! I love all of these books!!! They are awesome! I tried to describe them but I just make them sound cheesy! They are not cheesy! Having said that, here is my cheesy description. Cat is the main character. She is half vampire and half human. Her crazy mother convinces her that she is the spawn of Satan and the only way to redeem herself is to go out and kill every vamp she comes in contact with. She becames a vampire assassin, that is until she meets a freaking hotty name Bones and he teaches her that not all vampires are bad (heck even if they were, I would turn to the dark side...I hear they have cookies) without giving too much away, she still tracks and kills rogue vamps set on killing off mankind. These books have it all, they are fun, sexy...the next book comes out August 2011 and can't wait. Check them out, let me know what you think and we can talk book!

Tammi, Jace Everett, Me and Bridget on Saint Patricks Day!
In case you didn't know, Jace sings "I want to do bad things with you" for the Hit HBO show "True Blood". Yes that is me with his bumpersticker on my chest lol. And being the true nerd that I am I had to ask if he knew Charlaine Harris...I love the Sookie Stackhouse Series!! He said he did (OMG) and well like true nerd form I asked if that is why she put him in her last book "Dead in the Family" and he said, "Nah she is just a really big sweet heart"! Awww I love her! Not really a fan of the show but I love the song and I probably would of loved the show but I fell in love with the books and the series doesn't follow the book like I think it should! And of course I had in mind what the characters would look like and well HBO got it all wrong lol, in my highly important opinion obviously thats why HBO asked me! No they didn't but umm they should have :p

What I am Reading Now...
Ok so what I am reading now? I stumbled across this by accident and I was pleasantly surprised! The Author is H. P. Mallory and the first book I read was called "To Kill A Warlock" it was .99 cents in a Barnes and Noble Nook download and I was looking for something to read and said why not. It was really good! The main character is Dulcie O'neil, she is a Fairy and a law enforcement agent for creatures not of this world. She basically needs to solve a murder that is kind of pointing in her direction! The "Warlock" and her never got along and well she has the motive and all.
The second book in the series is the one I just finished "A tale of Two Goblins", I thought it was really good. You get to know the characters so much better! I love a good series! I never want them to end. I don't know about you, but I always wonder what is going to happen next or what they will do or who they will end up with. I don't like to leave anything up to my imagination well except for the main love interest "Knight"...he gets my imagination going :) In this book Dulcie needs to catch a "Dreamstalker" who stalks and kills victims in their sleep, he is after Dulcie with a past vendetta. I don't want to give anything away, it is a fun read! And well I can't wait for the next one!!!
My absolute favorite is H.P. Mallory's "Jolie Wilkin's Series"! First book is called "Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble" and the second is "Toil and Trouble" and I can not wait for the 3rd. H.P. Mallory just got published and so it will be a while for the 3rd book! I will try to be patient but really I can't wait! Jolie is a psychic working in LA, until this hot man named "Rand" walks in to her life and tries to convince her she is a witch. I personally would be anything he wanted me to be lol but that is me! Well money talks and Jolie agrees to work for him but isn't convinced until she travels in time to solve a murder and brings the murdered back to life! This story has it all. I laughed and cried...fantastic! I recommend all H.P. Mallory books and I hope you liked them as much as I did!

I am new at this...
Hi, I am Angela Harding (Angie) and I have had a few people ask me to start an online book club, so here it is. I hope you like it!
Well what started it all is I read a lot of books, and when I say a lot, I mean I basically have no life and what life I do have is usually spent in a book lol, nah it isn't all that bad. However, I did read 182 book in a year and when my friends need a new book to read they come to me and ask what they should read next. My hair stylist (who is fabulous) is the one who gave me the idea and asked me about it every time she sees me, Deann...love her! And my best friend Jami found the site and sent encuragements and well here I am. I never did anything like this and well if it is lame...oh well! I read books! I don't write them, uh hello? I am not creative! If I was then someone would be writing about the book I wrote not the other way around. :)
Side Note: I don't write bad things about books! I think they are subjective, just like everything in life. One person will love it, while the next will hate it. I will not bash someones hard work! I much rather write about the books I Loved and hopefully, you will love them too! And if not, well like I said books are subjective and maybe I am not the best book critic for you! My favorite are "Pharanormal Love Stories", Just so you know! It's not all I read but it is my favorite! What can I say, I appreciate a man who can sparkle :p
